Artist Profile:

Bikash Poddar, born 1958, in Kaliyaganj, North Bengal, took his Diploma in Applied Arts from the Government College of Arts and Crafts, Kolkata. His solo show of water colours held in Delhi in early 1990s shot him up to fame. Since then he has conducted more than 20 solo shows all over India and participated in several group and traveling shows with works in major collections. He lives and works in New Delhi.
